Your colours are yours. Here is exactly what we handle and why.
We collect only what is needed to run the tools and answer your messages. We do not sell your data. Images you open stay in your browser.
What we collect
- Usage basics: technical logs such as browser type and generation counts, used to keep the service working and fair.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form or, if enabled, to Colour Bot.
What stays on your device
Images you open in the Image palette tool are read in your browser and are not uploaded. Likes and saved palettes are kept in your browser’s local storage and do not leave your device.
How we use it
To provide the tools, answer your messages, prevent abuse and improve the product. We rely on your consent or on what is needed to deliver the service.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, email, and an AI provider if you use AI features), and when the law requires it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your data and to withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Retention and security
We keep messages you send us for a limited period, unless the law requires longer. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure.
Children
palettes.in is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date below and, where appropriate, tell you.
